Hi,

Is it possible to add the value within a form response to an excel, rather than just overriding it?

I have a holiday request form where the form is the trigger. It then sends an approval request. Once approved, I want the amount of holidays used to increase by the number of days requested in the form and the number of days remaining to reduce by the number of days requested in the form.

I can only seem to be able to set the number to a value, rather than it being dynamic based on the form response.

Hi,

Yes this is possible. The steps include first using List Rows Present in a Table. You will need to filter query down to the specific row you want to add the value to.

That's going to return the one row you want to work with.

Next you can add a compose with the add expression to add two values together. So you would be adding the new value from the form with the value you just read from List rows present in a table. That's going to give you the newly added total.

Then last step, use the update row and the dynamic content you will use the is the output from the compose for that specific column.
