Hi !

I have a column (multi-line text) that contains terms (term store).
I want to copy this column into a real managed metadata column.

But I can't copy a managed metadata text field. He's giving me a formatting error.

How can I do this, please?

    Hi @BenjaminSTRIEBI,

Could you please show a bit more about your error message?

Could you please show a bit more about your Multiple lines of text column in your SharePoint library?

Further, could you please share a full screenshot of your flow’s configuration?

I have made a test on my side and confirm the issue on my side. The Managed Metadata column is a taxonomy column which groups the words, labels and terms that describe something, and then arranges the groups into a hierarchy, so I afraid that it is not impossible to update text into a Managed Metadata column in Microsoft Flow currently.

Someone else also faced similar issue with you, please check the following thread:

    https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/General-Flow-Discussion/Workaround-to-update-SharePoint-document-metadata-custom-columns/m-p/44428/highlight/true#M7890

More details about Managed Metadata column, please check the follwoing article:

    Introduction to Managed Metadata column

    Best regards,

    Kris
