I'm sure this is really simple but this has had me going round in circles. I can't connect drop down component to SharePoint List.
I've created a new canvas app, added my connection to the SharePoint list and added a dropdown list to the canvas. Following the Microsoft instructions here:
I have added a dropdown box to the app and set:
But get the following error:
I have tried every connotation of syntax from any forum I can find but nothing works. Can anyone put me out of my misery?

Basic question, but field_2 is a Lookup, Choice, or Managed Metadata column type, correct?
