I Want to Save a Microsoft Teams Attachment to SharePoint

Here's what my Flow looks like.

  1. Respond to a message mentioning me
  2. Automated response Asks for text and attachment
  3. Create a folder with the userid and username on SharePoint
  4. Save the attachment (Which is an Excel Spreadsheet) to the newly created file.

I can't find a solution to saving an MS Teams attachment to a file in SharePoint.

Thanks!

    Hi @WhoElseButMe ,

Take a look at the following solution I have pasted below from a different thread. It looks like the Teams trigger isn't able to handle the attachment content, but this can be done by navigating to the SharePoint site for the specific team that is automatically created for each team in Teams. Let me know if you have questions after reviewing this:

    Hi @WhoElseButMe ,

You would need a Flow that utilizes the 'When I am mentioned in a channel message' Teams trigger. Then you could utilize the attachment dynamic content retrieved from that trigger to save the attachment to SharePoint. If you send a screenshot of your entire Flow I could give a more specific structure to this Flow based on what you already have.
