We are trying to setup a new starter power automate desktop flow that can be triggered when users fill in a Microsoft Forms.
There is an action 'Get response details' but I don't understand how I can get the response ID details to populate.
How would I get the response ID of the form that's just submitted to pull through the variables?
Initially, establish input parameters for the desktop flow, resembling the following format for the Response ID (which is required from the cloud flow upon submission of the Microsoft Form).
Next, assign the response ID obtained from the cloud flow into the "Response Id" parameter within the "Get response details" action.
When setting up a cloud flow with the trigger "when a new response is submitted," you will receive the "response id" as an output. Subsequently, when invoking the desktop flow designed for the MS Form, you'll need to provide the "MS Form Response ID" as an input parameter to execute that flow. Simply pass the response ID received from the trigger, and your desktop flow will now possess the necessary response ID to retrieve and return the user's submitted response.
Hope this helps!!
