Hi Team,

In my PVA chatbot , I am asking some 10 questions to user, It will be of type Yes or No. User can select either one.

I need to calculate those Yes or No into percentage in an Excel. Is there any best way to do it, kindly guide me further on this

    Hi @Abisheck_Canary !

I'd suggest using Power Automate. As long as the Excel file is somewhere accessible like on Excel Online (OneDrive) then Power Automate can take the variables from PVA and add a row to an Excel table. If all you're doing is documenting the % of responses that are Yes or No then it's really easy to set up. Your flow would be triggered by PVA (I've found it easiest to create the flow from PVA - if you don't then you'll have to add it to the chatbot's "Solutions" which isn't the easiest in the world).

Add the variables that PVA will pass through to the flow. If you're asking all 10 questions to your customer at once then you can add all 10 in the top section (I've only done 2 as an example). Then you can add your excel integration and have it do what you need it to.

Once you have power automate set up and your flow is saved and turned on. Then you can add it to PVA and map the variables from PVA to the inputs in your flow.

That will then pass the responses from your customers through the bot to the Flow.

Just know, you can get pretty creative with flows depending on how complex the series of 10 questions are - if they're in the same topic or if they're spread out. You can also return values that your flow calculates and present that to your users too. So it's a very flexible too. I'm using PVA and PowerAutomate for a lot of automation with our chat bots. It took a little bit of struggling to learn but even I (a non-developer) was able to figure out how to send sales lead emails, MS Teams posts, capturing customer feedback on our chatbots, etc.
