Edited drop-down in an exciting list not picking new drop-down options

I have taken control of an existing power apps form. I have amended the drop downs and the new options are on the published form. The problem is that on the share point list the form goes to, is not populating the new options that have been selected. I think it might be an issue with the app not telling the lists to show the options somehow?

    If the form is not submitting the fields, check the Update property of the cards that aren't working.  Make sure the Update property correctly references the control inside the card.  You can always delete the card and add it back again from the fields dropdown on the right hand side of the screen.  Then check how the card's Update property references the control inside.  Also once the schema of the list is altered, remember to refresh the SharePoint screen and refresh the list in PowerApps too.
