How to Update "CreatedBy" field using power automate

Dear Everyone,

I am currently working on a requirement where I need to update the "CreatedBy" and "Created on" field for certain records in Dataverse. However, since the "CreatedBy" field is read-only, I am seeking an alternative method to update this field using Power Automate.

The data is being fetched from an Excel sheet stored on SharePoint, and based on the information in the sheet, I need to update the "CreatedBy" user in Dataverse.

If anyone has encountered a similar scenario or has any suggestions on how to approach this, your assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

Workarounds for Updating "CreatedBy" in Dataverse
    1. Use Dataflows (Recommended)
Import Excel via Dataflow ,     "CreatedOn" can be mapped. Use "Owner" field instead of "CreatedBy".
    2. Impersonation via Power Automate (Premium)
Use HTTP with Azure AD action.  Create records on behalf of another user.  Works only for new records, not updates.
    3. Custom Field for "CreatedBy"
Add a custom field (e.g., "Original Created By").  Store user info from Excel. Use in reports instead of system "CreatedBy".
    4. Dataverse API via Power Automate (Advanced, Premium)
Use Dataverse API with impersonation.  Requires Delegated Permissions via Azure App.  Complex but effective for new record creation.
