Pasting data from Planner to Sharepoint and keep them updated

Hi all,

I've a multiple planner HUBs so I need a central point to display condensed and updated information to all other in the company.
My idea is to build a flow that every day flush all my plans, insert new plans into Sharepoint list and updated existing plans details.

To keep consistency with data I create a text column in Sharepoint list a filed named UniqueID that is my major Key.

I've also noticed that the "Create Item" fails if a duplicate is found and it stops at this time, will not proceed to further records.

So I've created an action "Get Item" with ODATA filter query based with this UniqueID column.

the filter is

UniqueID eq '<DynamicFiled1>.<DymanicField2>.<DynamicField3>'

But the flow get error saying "UniqueID Column does not exist".

Where I'm wrong?

Do you have different solution?

Thank you for your help!

Regards,

Nicola

    Hi @Nick979 ,

Could you please share a screenshot of the configuration of your flow?

Could you please share a screenshot of the sharepoint list and data in it and especially the UniqueID column?

And please make sure the UniqueID created by manully, not a updated name column, take a try to create the new column with name UniqueID.

    Best regards,

    Hi @v-alzhan-msft ,

    Thanks for attention.

this is the part of the flow I mentioned before:

    Check1.png

Here you can find the list (I hope this is the details you need):

    list.png

The Sharepoint column is not a re-named but it is a custom column created by zero:

    Thank you.

    Hi @Nick979 ,

Since your flow failed with error "UniqueID" column doesn't exist, I suggest that you could delete the column, create the column again from scratch, then run the flow again to see if the issue could be solved.

    Hi @v-alzhan-msft ,

I tried but it doesn't work.

I deleted the field in sharepoint list, I deleted all records in the sharepoint list, I recreated the field in the sharepoint list.

But when running the flow I receive same error

    Thank you again.

    Hi @Nick979 ,

I have made a test on my side and the issue is confirmed on my side.

I'm afraid that the UniqueID name is used in the system column name, so the flow would run failed, and I suggest that you could create the column with a new name, such as you could create the column with name UniqueID1, then the flow would works.

    Best regards,

    Hi @v-alzhan-msft

You're right! the columns name was the problem, I just changed it and the flow is working.

Moreover to track this flow I share also the final one step:

    NewFlow.png

I had to move the Create item before the get elements, because even if the query result return "null" it is not considered as step failed, so the new plans where never added. With this routing if the add fails (because of duplicated IDs in the list) then the search for the already there is done.
(I know that the search is done also if the step doesn't fail, but is because after that I'll have more common actions).

Thank you again for your help.

    Regards,

    Nicola
