Very large Approval workflow

Power Automate beginner ready to give up here.

I have a large workflow with 9 different conditions just for one department and i think it will be around 9-10 for the other department.  Some go to only the director, some go to director/VP and so on.  I've tried building out just a normal workflow but with all of the conditions, updates, variables, etc, it now takes a long time for it to open to be able to edit.

I've tried looking into using Solution, but we do not have premier licensing and I've not been able to figure out how to create the child flows.  Have been watching videos and referred to documents that i've found, but still just can't wrap my head around this.

I also need for them to be able to manually start the approval process again if it gets rejected.  The only thing i can think of is to recreated the whole thing over again with a manual button.

Can anyone share some of their expertise here?  There is also an additional approver that would need to respond if it is a special type of project, so in some cases, another additional approver.  I have a list that that i call to with get items to pull the correct approver.  Is there a way to break these down a little?  Especially for troubleshooting?

I have a similar sort of workflow requirement for a large Procurement Process. You can not develop a large workflow because it will be at some point inefficient to troubleshoot and unmanageable.  See my architecture below... In each Flow 1, Flow 2, I added around 2 stages. This way each Flow gets 30 days to complete and can potentially avoid timeout. App invokes Router. The router checks conditions and invokes individual flow. Flow executes itself and invokes router back until last flow which does not and ends.

This brings up a question.  I have since created separate workflows for the different approvers and conditions.  Seems to be working so far but there is still another possible issue.  I have 2 other "Special" types of projects where an additional person would need to approve.  Wonder if how i have this set up since it woudl start a new workflow for the approver if they will get 30 days for their approval.

So for the additional people, can you add conditions to one of the existing workflows OR create another workflow for that? Just like in my design, you can invoke another workflow and once complete call Router back

If your main issue is resolved, can you please accept this as a solution so that we can close this thread?
