I want to start another flow from a flow. There is an action "Flow Management - Start Flow." Unfortunately, this does not work for me, does anyone have an idea?

Could you please share a bit more about the error message on your side?

I have made a test on my side and the flow works well. My flow's configuration as below:

The flow works successfully as below:

In addition, the "Start Flow" action of Flow management connector is used to enable the specific flow rather than excute the specific flow. In other words, when a flow is disabled, we could use "Start Flow" action to enable the flow.

If there is something error with your "Start Flow" action, please check if you are the Environemnt admin of your Microsoft Flow. It means that you should create a connection to Flow management connector with a account which has a Environment admin permission.

Hi Kris, the "Start Flow" action in your screenshot is the same as the the Flow Management - Start Flow action you describe. This doesn't run the flow, it just enables it.

This post describes how you can invoke a Flow using the HTTP action - https://flow.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/call-flow-restapi/. However, it would be great if there was a simple action like "Start Flow" that you could use to, you know, start a flow.

Why name you a trigger thats enable a flow "Start flow" ? Totally senseless, pls rename it. I build an flow withit and now I can rebuilt it with another tzrigger.

I am also perplexed. I thought "Start Flow" actually runs the Flow, intead of just enabling it. Misleading action name.

Start the given flow in an environment.

I don't see Start Flow, but I guess it got renamed to Turn On Flow? The description is still misleading. It doesn't work for my manually triggered Flows.
