Power Platform Community Forum Thread Details

Dear Experts,

I have a Power App which connected to a SharePoint List. All looks good except the access part. Power App requires users to have edit permission to SharePoint List. if I provide edit permission, they can directly edit the list on the site and it questions the whole purpose of the Power App.

Is there any workaround to prevent users from editing the list on the SharePoint site directly and they should be able to do it from the Power App I created?
