Flow is not trigger while move email to the specific folder

Hello Everyone,

I will need something like when a new email arrives the flow should create one item to the SharePoint list. I have created some rules for moving the email to specific folders based on the email address.

For Example,

  1. Company1 Folder
    • User1 Folder.
    • User2 Folder
  2. Company2 Folder
    • User1 Folder.
    • User2 Folder

I have created a Flow in Power Automate to achieve this. It is working as expected if the email is in the Inbox.

But if the email is moved to a specific folder (shown in the above example) as per the created rule then the flow is not triggered.

Can anyone help with the same?

Thanks

This happens because you probably have the trigger configured to run when new mail arrives in the Inbox folder:
If you want it to run when mail arrives in another folder, you will need to configure another workflow and point it to that folder:

You will need to create a separate workflow for each folder that applies to your process.

Or you can turn off or delete your rules, so the messages arrive in the inbox folder. You can then add trigger conditions similar to the conditions you have in your Outlook rule, so the flow only triggers on the appropriate e-mails. For example, maybe you only want it to trigger for e-mails from @microsoft.com. You would use the trigger condition: @contains(triggerOutputs()?['body/from'],'@microsoft.com'):

You can then add logic to your flow to move the e-mail to the correct folder in the workflow instead and whatever else you need in the conditional checks.
