Hi All,

I have a list of process steps stored in my CDS which are sequentially numbered. I want to allow my user the ability to insert a process step in the middle of this list, and have the list renumbered to include that new step. I would like to avoid using SP or any application outside of my PowerApp. Any simple way to do this? Thanks!

Do you want to insert a new record into the middle of a numbered list in your CDS Entity, and renumber to include that new step?

Based on the needs that you mentioned, I afraid that there is no way to achieve your needs in PowerApps currently. Currently, within PowerApps canvas app, there is no function supported to insert a new record into the middle of a numbered list and renumber the List.

Within PowerApps canvas app, for SubmitForm function or Patch function to add a new record in data source, it would add the new entry at the end of the table list. There is no way to add new record into the middle of a numbered list.
