Attaching SharePoint document library files to and email as an attachment

Hi Forum, I'm having some issues with being able to add a SharePoint document library file as an attachment and email it. I followed several YouTube guides and articles but can't get it working.

This is what I have:

The correct file is attached and sent via email, but the attachment is empty. If I open the file in SharePoint it has data.

Sorry, my previous response was lost, I thought it was sent.

And you mentioned that correct file is being attached, but just to sure.

I think the issue is because of get file content using path (dynamic content ID).

I am not sure, but generally ID would be internal file identitier.

You can directly use get file content, if you have file internal identifier and use it the mail action.

Additionally, do a test run and share the raw output of send an email action specifically attachment part (I think the file is getting corrupted)

I resolved this myself. There seems to be some latency when updating documents in SharePoint. Running the flow on a document that already exists works, so a bit of trial an error I added a 60 delay after the document is created and hey presto.

Yes, SharePoint has some sync issues, it always better to add a delay of upto 5 mins, when creating the file and doing operations on the same file.
This will ensure the file is completely sync and ready to use.

And I am glad that you are able to resolve the issue
