Any solution to run a workflow more than limited duraration in canvas app

Looking for a solution to run a workflow for more than the limited 30 day period, i have a canvas app and trying to set up a workflow for multiple level approval process and it takes couple of months to complete the approval process, and i can not use the power automate due it duration limit(and cannot re-run the same workflow every 30 day to keep it running). also trying to send only notifications from canvas app, so that user can go in to the app and approve it by changing the field value. please recommend any other alternatives to have a proper solution.

    There is a simple way to tackle this. First, start the flow using the 'start approval' action.

     

    This approval action generates an ID, which you can store anywhere. Next, set another flow to run daily with a 24-hour timeout, repeatedly. What's the purpose of this flow? Precisely, it is to 'wait for a response', and here is where the stored approval ID comes into play.

     

    You could use an 'Apply to each' action with a parallel setting of 50 on the dataset where you stored the approval IDs.

     

    This way, you have set up a loop that continues until the approval process is completed.
