Filter my Gallery with Buttons

Hello 🤗,

 

I have a table with names, priority and date, ... I want to use the 3 buttons to filter (low, medium, high) my gallery.

So I would like to click on the biutton "low" and only those with a low priority should be displayed. 🙂

 

Can someone tell me what to write in "on select" at "low" medium" and "high"-Button ?

and what do I have to write in my "Gallery2" for "On Select" and "item".

 

I read the questions a few times in the community but since I'm not that strong in the field I'll ask them again to get an exact solution to my problem 🙂

 

I would be very grateful for some code that I can just copy and paste.

    What's in your gallery's Items() property? I'm just going to take a stab at a solution.

     

    Assuming your buttons aren't in a gallery, you can add this to your buttons' OnSelect property:

     

    UpdateContext({locPriority: Self.Text})

     

    That will set a local variable to whatever the selected button's Text() property is (i.e. low, medium, high). Then in your gallery's Items() property, you'll do this:

     

    Filter('Your Data Source', PriorityColumnName = locPriority)

     

    This is loosely what you'll have to do; you might have to play with the column name depending on its type, but you get the idea!

    Hi,

     

    i should have mentioned that before. I’m trying to Filter Gallery based on dropdown selection.

    My Data Source is "status" and my PrioColumnName "Prio" as you can see in the attached files.

     

    i'm still trying to figure out what i did wrong, in the preview i cant see my gallery.
