Data entry on a gallery using checkboxs and text input keeps disappearing

Hello everyone,

 

I'm looking for a bit of assistance with trying to find the cause of check boxes and typed data that keep disappearing while using the app. The strangest thing for me is that the SharePoint list is being updated in real time however if your in mid typing and it disappears nothing for that field will show up on SharePoint. 

 

I have added a gif of what is happening to better show what I'm talking about, any help would be amazing.

    Hi @Theatreguy ,

     

    When you mention the data source is updated in real time, do you mean you patch it in the OnChange property? If so, please share the OnChange and Default properties of the Text Input control and check box?

    So the check box has Oncheck

    Patch(
 Questions,
 ThisItem,
 {Complete: Self.Value}
)

     

    it also has the same for uncheck

     

    and the text input has a Onchange

    Patch(
 Questions,
 ThisItem,
 {Notes: Self.Text}
)

    Default for checkbox is False and text box just has ""

    Hi @Theatreguy ,

     

    Can you try setting the Default property of the checkbox to:

    ThisItem.Complete

     

    And for the Text Input, set the Default property to:

    ThisItem.Notes
