I'm using Power Automate for a document approval process and running into an issue where updating certain columns (like "Payment Status" or "Approver's Comments") causes the document to revert toDraftstatus.
Here's the situation:
After the approval is completed, the approver adds comments, which are automatically saved in a document library column.
There is also a second approval stage (custom response), and its status is updated in the document library in a seperate column.
The problem is that whenever these updates occur (either approver's comments or custom responses), theApproval Status changes back to "Draft," even though the approval process has already been finalized.
SOLUTION
After your document or item has returned to the draft status once the changes are made to the columns in the document library, you can update your Power Automation workflow and add extra actions in the end.
