How to split and replace PascalCase?

Does anyone know how to split or replace PascalCase in Power Automate? I'm not sure how to spit a string by all capital letters EXCEPT for the first capital letter and separate each new word with a hyphen.

Example:

  • Input: SeattleCulturalSpaces
  • Output: Seattle-Cultural-Spaces

I think this is the correct RegEx, but I dont' see how to use RegEx in Power Automate.

([A-Z]+|[A-Z]?[a-z]+)(?=[A-Z]|\b)

Ideas?

Thank yoU!

    HI @seadude

Unless you use Plumsail there's no way to use, yet I hope, REGEX in Power Automation.

I would recommend finding an API that parses this and use the HTTP action to call it and get your result.

    Hope this helps you.

I am not sure how to perform a split on pascal case in power automate, but if you implement spaces between then we can achieve the desired result.

    Input : Seattle Cultural Spaces

    flow design

    Step - 1Step - 1

    Step - 2Step - 2

    Step - 3Step - 3

    Step - 4Step - 4

    Step - 5Step - 5

The substring formula used in the last step is as follows :

    substring(variables('itesst'),0,sub(length(variables('itesst')),1))
