Hi,

I have a power automate calling gpt 4o. then i got this error

Could not load type 'Microsoft.Xrm.Kernel.Contracts.Internal.ICrmServiceCollectionFactory' from assembly 'Microsoft.Xrm.Kernel.Contracts.Internal, Version=9.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35'.

Can someone help me on this?

Regards,
Ian

I have encountered the same exact error in the same situation - Power Automate flow using an AI Model.  This has been working without issue for a year and then this morning it fails repeatedly with the error:

    Could not load type 'Microsoft.Xrm.Kernel.Contracts.Internal.ICrmServiceCollectionFactory' from assembly 'Microsoft.Xrm.Kernel.Contracts.Internal, Version=9.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=31bf3856ad364e35'.

I have an entire supply chain department that is having to process hundreds of documents manually this morning because of this.  They don't have the luxury of waiting for someone at Microsoft to admit they changed something and fix it.

Seeing the same error for our automation. It seems like Microsoft is experiencing some issues this week with AI Builder because it also wasn't functional on Wednesday (10/9/24).

@CU26070928-1  -  I am still experiencing it as well.  Nothing at all was changed in the flow or the documents being processed.  It just started out of the blue this morning.  I have a department that is not at all happy with our "automation" causing them hours of manual intervention on a Friday.  Not sure what to do.  It will take months for Microsoft's outsourced tier 1 support to even grasp the issue, so I don't even want to raise a ticket.  I may have to push for a premier support ticket.  It's hard for me to get that done because of the expense and visibility up the management chain.

We are also experiencing this issue.  I logged a support case but have not yet heard anything back and there is nothing showing in the Service Health Dashboard as for the power platforms.  Glad it isn't just us but also concerning as we are about to expand a solution leveraging one of these prompts out to a large group on Monday.

Hey Yall! my SME let me know this is a known issue, it's pending a hot fix within 24 hours of this AM!

User Impact: Desktop flows may encounter failures when using the "Create text with GPT using a prompt" AI Builder action.

Current Status: Our investigation has identified that a recent service deployment caused a misconfiguration in the infrastructure supporting AI Builder actions in desktop flows. We are currently working on a fix to roll back the changes from the deployment to resolve the issue. Once the fix has been validated, we will proceed with deploying it to your environment.

@samiak - I receive a similar error with cloud flows too? Could you confirm this affects cloud flows and not just power automate desktop?

    Error is :
"Action 'AI Reply' failed: Could not load type 'Microsoft.Xrm.Kernel.Contracts.Internal.ICrmServiceCollectionFactory' from assembly 'Microsoft.Xrm.Kernel.Contracts.Internal, Version=9.0.0.0''

@Samiak any update on the status of this issue?  Also any reason this is not being reported in the Service Health Dashboard for us to track and recieve updates?  At this time Service Health shows healthy for PowerPlatform.  This issue is impacting some important business processes and it seems as though there is no way for us to stay updated on the status.

We are receiving this error across all of our Power Platform AI Builder models.......here are the symptoms we are experiencing:
    • Cloud Flow Error "Action 'AI Reply' failed: Could not load type 'Microsoft.Xrm.Kernel.Contracts.Internal.ICrmServiceCollectionFactory' from assembly 'Microsoft.Xrm.Kernel.Contracts.Internal, Version=9.0.0.0''
    • AI Hub Quick Test - on any AI Builder model, running a quick test will produce the error "Couldn't quick test model....try again later".
    • Cloud Flow AI Builder Actions - AI Builder actions have disappeared as an action that can be added in a cloud flow.
Sure hope this is truly resolved tomorrow.
