Filter Entity list based on a logged in contact field along with account

Hello,

I am trying to filter the list of records that portal user can view. Right now its on the account scope of the portal user. In addition to it, filter should be applied based on the optionset field that is on the contact entity suppose "A".  I have the same option set field on the Entity B. so the filter should be entity A.option set value= entity B.optionset value.

Please suggest how to implement this to filter the existing entity list of the Entity B

Hi @hardikv , Thankyou for your response, I have seen this post, And its building custom web template and fetch xml is appended to it instead of entity list. My requirement is to use the same web template and entity list.

Is there any way that i can add filters to the entity list directly?

Just wanted to add webapi has been added as a preview capability to portals and that may be an alternate way to retrieve to fetchxml: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/portals/web-api-overview

    Hi @deepthih

You need to use fetchxml using liquid code in Entity List. You can add your custom filter in fetchxml as well as in liquid code.

    Please refer below blog: http://dyn365apps.com/2017/09/14/dynamics-365-portals-liquid-templates-part-3-retrieve-data-using-fetchxml/
