Error - Export To file for Power BI Reports

Hi All,

I've created a flow that uses the 'Export to file for Power BI reports' connector to download a PNG file of the report. This flow works fine when

1. No Page or Visual name is mentioned explicitly

2. A Page name is explicitly mentioned

It fails when I try to download only a specific visual from a page as a PNG file. The flow runs for about 8 minutes and ends with a timeout error (screenshot below). PowerAutomate_Error.png Any help or inputs appreciated!

Thanks,

Sangeetha

Hi Sangeetha, have you been able to achieve this ??
I'm trying to export single visual but not getting any clue how to add a particular visual name i.e., (what should be the correct format for the visual name). I hope you can throw some light on it. Thanks 🙂

    Hi Rajat,

I'm still stuck with the Timeout error. Unlike the page name, there seems to be no specific format mentioned anywhere in the documentation for a visual name. Once in the edit mode, you can toggle the selection pane 'on' from the 'View' drop-down on the menu bar. After this is done, when you select a visual, you'll be able to see the name in the selection pane and it's usually the title text of the visual. In cases, where you do not have the title text, you'll see a generic name like Table, card etc.,. This can be changed by turning on the title text, entering the name you want and turning it off again unless required. Give it a try and let me know if it worked for you!

Correct,  I also tried what you mentioned but getting the same error. I guess the visual name format what we're passing is incorrect hence the flow is not been able to find the visual and throwing timeout error.
If you find any solution, please let me know, vice a versa.
