Create new work item in Azure Devops when new item in SharePoint form is created

Hello,

I tried using flow to trigger any new items in SharePoint list form into Azure DevOps new work item.

The ADO work item was created when I create Flow, SharePoint "when item is created">"get item" > ADO "Create work item". but only the title was generated. the inputs in SharePoint columns did not flow into ADO work item. Not sure how to match the columns from SharePoint form to ADO intake form (new work item). Please help.

Hi @sizail ,

Could you please provide the screenshot of the Flow configuration?

You only need to fill the Dynamic content in the filed. If you cannot find the dynamic content, you could use Compose to get the dynamic content first and fill the output of the Compose in the field.

Hi @sizail ,

Please try to click Show advanced options to expand more fields when you configure Create a work item action and you could fill the dynamic content from Get item action to these fields.

Hi @v-bacao-msft,

I have done that before, but only my title and ID went through. the other information did not go through.
How do i use JSON format into the Other Fields? Not sure if i am doing this correctly. Everytime I insert more than 5 items in Other Fields, it creates a new flow "apply to each" box.

If you want to use Other fields, it seems that you need to get the internal name of the field first.

You could use List work items action to get the all items with the specified type and check the body of this action to get the name of the custom field.
