    Hello @DannyB72 ,

Does your Flow have an Update File properties action in it?

If your Flow is being triggered on item/file modified and if it updates the same item/file - this will cause an infinite loop.

    To avoid this, you can

    1.  If you are using a Service Account, add a Trigger Condition to run the Flow only if Modified by Does not equal Service Account
    2. Add a Column in your List/Library which will act as a Flag (can be SOT or Yes/No Column), add a condition in your Flow to Run only if the Flag is blank or set to No and in Update Properties Action update the Flag to Yes.

    Hello @NiloferA ,

yes, the flow has an update action inside but i have placed a trigger condition like you mentioned in your point 1. The flow is also executed by a distinct service-account. The flow has worked without any error for months.

And suddenly, the flow triggers randomly in time and also on items that are not changed or created by any user.

    Very confusing...

    Thx for your help 🙂
