Power Apps Access / SharePoint Permissions

I have a Power App.

I have several SharePoint Lists that support said Power App.

Those who require access to the Power App, and 'edit' access to the source data (SharePoint Lists), changes from day-to-day, and week-to-week.

The names and metadata associated with those individuals is delivered periodically through an email and a Flow access said, building out those SharePoint Lists.

There is a 'main' list that has the UniqueID, Name, and other user infomation. There are the individuals who need access/permission provided when present on the list, or deleted when not on the list.

Is there a way to provide/restriction Power Apps access, and add/delete an individual's 'edit' permission to SharePoint Lists through a Power Automate flow?

    Hi @Phineas

You could create different SharePoint groups with view/edit permission sets. From the power app, you could pass the email address of the user & target SharePoint group name/id as input parameters.

Using "Send an http request to SharePoint", you could add the users to target group in the cloud flow. Here is the link to add user to SharePoint group using flow:

If this helps & solves your problem, please remember to give a 👍 and accept my solution as it will help others in the future.

    Thanks

    Thank you for your reply.

And what of the Power App, as this is the user interface by which data is entered/updated in the List?

How are those same names automatically added/removed from access to the Power App?
