I have a flow for a client that takes form data, creates a SharePoint list item, gets their manager, and then sends an email to a specific distribution list. The manager is only needed to create the body of the email.
Most of the time this flow runns successfully. However, due to the client's HR processes, users may have a period of no manager listed if their manager leaves the organization. This is causing my automation to fail with the error "Resource 'manager' does not exist or one of its queried reference-property objects are not present."
How can I adjust the automation to say "if manager is null do X. if manager exists do A" when it just fails at that point and wouldn't even go to branching? I've searched and found no solutions. Manager is not a dynamic content option in the "Get user profile (V2)" so I can't use that to bypass the error.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated as this is a compliance flow and they need specific information in that "send an email (v2)" message.
