    Can you post how you did it so others can use it please?

    Hi @Jennieg

    What i did is created a list in a sharepoint and in the list i added a user which usualy is responsible for the approvals

    So the aprooval flow is not calling the user name directly but is calling what user is entered inside sharepoint list. When user goes on holiday then user removes himself from this list and adds another user to whoom aproovals are delegated dynamically. When comes back adds back himsef

    Hi, could you please share screenshots of the flow which you made?

    @Sumitra_Sai

    When an item is created - i point out which sharepoint site and list to monitor

    After it i call action Get item by ID

    Then what you need to to is to have a separate list with the persons who will make aproovals and one of the columns must be person type column

    So see in the flow i call get items-Personalas pointing out that list where all my users who make this approval possible to be delegatable

    When you have your item and the list of persons(my users usualy in the approvers list have 1 user only and when some go on holiday they jus tswitch to different person in that list) then in asigned to you can point the user email from the approvers list which you got calling action above - get items-Personalas

    Let me know if you need more explanation. I just explained here how i get approvals for users to control themselves to which person they can delegate it

    Thanks for your explanation.

    Do we need to provide any condition if incase of delegation?

    And, could u pls elaborate on this "When you have your item and the list of persons(my users usualy in the approvers list have 1 user only and when some go on holiday they jus tswitch to different person in that list) then in asigned to you can point the user email from the approvers list which you got calling action above - get items-Personalas" ?

    @Sumitra_Sai

    No you dont need any conditions.

    Let me explain my case:

    Here in office we have 1 HR person and when somebody wan'ts to go on holiday they fill in the sharepoint list form with a holiday request. Then this request goes to this HR person and if all ok HR approves the request. But the question was what to do when HR is on holiday who will aproove requests? Then i came to and idea that the approver in this case should be dynamic so i created a separate list in same sharepoint site and called it Personalas. In that list a have entered a user to whoom the approval should go. So when my HR goes on holiday she goes to that list removes herself and puts another responsable person who will get holiday aproovals when she is away.

    As you see in the start and wait for the approval Asigned to is not pointed directly towards dedicated person/user but instead it is pointed top that personalas list user which is at the moment is enetered there

    oh okay, thanks! I understand your scenario.

    But in my case, if a user sends a request for the approval, then it will be assigned to an approver. There will be more approvers where, I have to maintain their names in a separate SP list. So, if an assigned approver is on leave / OOO / not responding within the stipulated time, then that particular approval request should be forwarded / delegated to all the remaining approvers present in the list (kind of sending multiple requests at a time).

    I'm really confused on multiple delegations. Could you / someone please help me on this?
