Sharepoint Data Source still referencing to DEV list when exported to new environment

Hi,

I have relatively new to Power apps and built my first app having Sharepoint List as a datasource. I noticed that after migrating the solution to UAT enviroment, the app's datasource still showing reference to DEV Sharepoint Site List.

Although, the App in UAT is working as expected and adding, displaying data from UAT Sharepoint List only

But when you edit the app and hover over the Datasource, it shows DEV site and upon edit , it takes you to DEV site only, which is quite misleading

The current solution that I have applied is to edit the App in UAT region and remove the datasource and add it again using UAT enviroment variables. But this solution is not useful for Pipeline deployments.

I referred to this Microsoft page, which mentions this as an issue but not sure if they have fixed it in the new releases.

Can someone please advise.

@Shivani_PowerAp - as you have rightly pointed out, Microsoft is aware of this issue.

However, I am not understanding what direct impact this would have to you other than being misleading.

Given the App was deployed into UAT (assume as a Managed Solution), and you are using environment variables to reference the SharePoint site and SharePoint List, what purpose is there to to edit the App outside of the managed solution?
