How to post a message in chat or channel from Power Automate Desktop  to MS Teams?

@JAPardo At the moment you have two options:

    1) Change the flow logic and combine Desktop Flows with Cloud Flows. This would probably require you to break down your Desktop Flow into several smaller pieces and orchestrate it from Cloud Flow.

    2) Create cloud flow for posting messages to MS Teams and trigger it from Desktop flow via API call.

@Anonymous how would we go about option 2?

    Hi @ianwuk

This is an example of creating an URL via "When a Http request is received" of Cloud Flows and calling it from the Desktop Flow.

I went a little more low tech.  I added an email notification at the end of my PAD flow and put my Teams channel email as a recipient.  Now, each time the flow completes and email is sent to the channel as a post.  Again, super low tech and didn't require me to add a cloud flow.

@Kanchell That's clever!  I never thought about that.  I ended up using the Invoke Web Service PAD action and configuring it to post to Teams during my flow.
