Flow Approval from Outlook for Mac

Hi.

Looking for some advice on approving or rejecting request using Outlook for Mac. I have been asked to setup a form / flow for our design department which are all Mac based. On my PC the approval works fine but when approving on a Mac it launches a web browser and asks you to login. I have setup a test with a new mac, Outlook for Mac (via O365 Business Premium subscription) and I am still having the same issue. I have read about changing the web-browser but I installed Chrome, set as default and still run into the same issue.

Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong? Outlook via the web works AOK but they would like to approve from within the Outlook App.

Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks, Dan

Hello @v-alzhan-msft & @daniel-hargrove I have a team member and an executive experiencing this same problem. They are receiving the approval request via outlook exchange for mac and when they hit the Approve button it takes them to the approval center. I do not want this happen (neither do they). How can I get the Approval button from within their email to work without the additional browser and steps?

Below is a snapshot of what they see/experience. Any help is appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Email received via outlook exchange in mac.

When they click Approve, it takes them to the power automate web browser where they see the requests. I feel that this is a duplicated step and unnecessary. They should be able to click Approve from their email and the request is marked approved from there. Is there some type of setting that we are missing?

Ideally, this should be a user friendly similar to the Windows setup where you get the email via Outlook email, click Approve and it updates.

    Hi @daniel-hargrove ,

Could you please share a screenshot when you are asked to login the web browser?

If you don't want to login the web browser, would you please make the approval on the flow approval center?

    Best regards,

    Alice
