Missing basic features in Power Automate for Desktop

Hi,

I'm struggling with the flow creation in PA for Desktop as it misses 2 crucial features in it.

1) It is impossible to recognize what actions do (like 'Send mouse click') as there is no option to comment or rename it.
2) While in 'Send mouse click' we have a dynamic hint of what the position of the cursor is- that's great. However, in 'Extract text with OCR' the is no such hint although we need to give 4 not just 2 X's and Y's. We need to use either an external tool to check the coordinates or switch back and forth 'Send mouse click' and write down on a piece of paper like in the Middle Ages.

Any chance this can be improved?

Maybe other actions need to be improved similarly but this one I have used personally.

Thanks,

Igor

1). You can add a comment line before the mouse click option

2). I completely agree. Or, if it won’t interfere with anything. Set up both mouse clicks and reference the new variables in the OCR.

    good luck!

Renaming actions is not a thing in PAD, but you can use the Comment action to add comments to your flows. Also, use appropriate variable and subflow names to make it more readable.

As to point number 2, I agree. It would be great to have that. Maybe try suggesting that as an idea here: https://ideas.powerautomate.com/d365community/forum/086dd68e-597f-ec11-8d21-0022482e8f9f
