Teams email forward to shared mailbox

Hi all,

We have a teams named RH then the object created was RH@blabla.com and we enabled external email for people outside the organization can send email to that email. works fine and this team owner can see email in their outlook in the "groups" section.

I tried to forward email or create a rules linked to that group in Outlook and nothing is possible. I tried different way and checked some settings in Microsoft Admin Center ... nothing.

Last resort : create a Power automate flux to check new email in that group inbox and forward to a specific shared mailbox or group M365.

I'm beginner with Power automate, and before start to deep in that, I just need to know if its possible to manager Teams related email with powerautomate to forward a copy or something like that?

thanks!

Are you referring to the email address associated with the Office 365 group? When individuals send emails to this address, they are promptly distributed to all group members.

For what you are trying to achieve, I suggest generating an email for your team's channel, as this would ensure that the messages are neatly organized within the conversation section.

Send an email to a channel in Microsoft Teams - Microsoft Support

Yes I'm referring to the email address associated with the office365 group/teams name rh@blabla.com. Only one employee is member of that teams group and she received email in her Outlook / Groups section. This email is already linked to a lot of publication about recruitment then its not possible to add another email linked to a channel like your suggestion.

Is this a good approach to user Power Automate to forward email to a shared mailbox or its a too big project and maybe I'm better to works on the recruitment system email?!?!

    Thanks

Can  you  just add a shared mailbox to the group?

If there's just a single member in the group, you have the option to employ Power Automate in order to track the emails of this member and redirect them to a Shared Mailbox. Nevertheless, I think the challenge lies in distinguishing between the emails that the users received as a member of the group vs those that are user's personal emails.

    Thanks all fo your suggestions.

Finally, my mind popup an idea suddenly!!! 🙂

I've enabled the option in the M365 Teams/Group to send all email to teams members. In the only member outlook mailbox, I created a rules that forward all email coming from that M365group email to a sharedmailbox and automatically delete this email from user mailbox. After that, I gave access to the shared mailbox to users who need access to these emails!!!

    Have a good day!
