Smartsheet - Float to String error

New here.

Similar issue to this thread here.

The problem is I dont understand that answer. Like where exactly do you write the float function?
Anyways all I am trying to do is send a notification once a new row is created within Smartsheet. And in that email notification I want it to display some of the dynamic content from the Smartsheet cells.

Here is my automation:

And here is the error:

    Hey HenWang,

Can you better explain what you mean by "try to use the dynamic content generated by the trigger to avoid the apply to each action?"

    Not sure I follow.

    Hi @sdrakedrake ,

Actually the flow is acting by design, because the dynamic content you are using inside the send email action is from the array generated by the "Get a sheet" action.

You can try to use the dynamic content generated by the trigger to avoid the apply to each action.

Re: Smartsheet - Float to String error

Sorry for the triple post, but I have it working now as in no errors. The only issue I'm running into now is that PowerAutomate sends multiple emails. It sends the amount of emails of rows within smartsheet.
I am pretty sure it has to do with the "apply to each" action.

So when I create an action to send an email AND use the dynamic values from smartsheet, powerautomate automatically places the email action in an "Apply to each" action with the outputs being set to "value".

It literally creates that for me automatically. I assume the solution is to create the send email action outside of powerautomate, but it won't let me unless I don't use any dynamic values that is captured in smartsheet.

Re: Smartsheet - Float to String error

When I run a test it looks like its returning or looking to return every single row in the sheet and not the data from the first row.

Maybe my "Get a sheet data (dynamic schema) is the wrong "action" here?

Or now that I think about it, I believe the issue is the "Apply to Each" action.

Even when I test it, I receive multiple emails of the same information

    Hi Hen,

Thanks for the reply. The Width column on the smartsheet is a text field. That means yes it is one of the columns on the sheet.
But when the new row was created to trigger the automate flow, I simply used the number "100". Not 100 ft or anything like that. Just 100 for the width column.

    Hi @sdrakedrake ,

I tested from my side and even when I use the sheet with id like :1234654643.21 , flow can run successfully

So I think this issue could be related to the data inside your sheet. As mentioned in this error message, is the "width" actually one of the columns from your sheet? If yes, could you please provide a sample record, maybe the first record inside your sheet? I would suppose there is conflict between the flow API and your data source.
