We are trying to use Azure File Storage Connector of power automate to connect to a storage account that is not publicly accessible. It is restricted to our apps and services within our Virtual network.
- In Power Automate and Power Apps we don't support connecting to storage accounts that are behind firewalls. Even if your connection works now, please don't rely on it since it can be broken in the future. There is only one reliable workaround as of now - don't use firewalls in your storage accounts if you want to connect to them from Power Platform.
We are not able to connect to our storage account from the Azure File Storage Connector as we get the following error (which is not true since we have the necessary permissions)
or the below screenshot where it says it is connected but none of the file share is displayed when we click on the folder.
Hence, we want to understand that if the Azure File Storage Connector in Power automate supports connecting to Storage Accounts that are not publicly accessible (as it is not clear from the documentation). If it is not possible, can you help us what alternative solutions we can use ?
If it is possible, can you guide us through or provide link to the document which can help us to achieve the same.
