Send an email (V2) - automation the data that was from previous week

I have created simple flow for email automation. The flow is that the Power Automate gets the data from excel which is saved in Sharepoint. Every Tuesday, data (with 300+ raws) changes based on the exported data from one of our tool. Earlier today, I've updated the data, after an hour, our automation runs. Unfortunately, we confirmed that the Send an Email (V2) flow got the data from last week instead the latest data today. I checked our data source (which is the excel from Sharepoint) and all data is up to date.

Did someone from you experience this issue before? I am not sure if the issue is in the Power Automate or Sharepoint.

Please note that the FLOW was working properly in a months. Nothing changed.

    Hi,

Here are some steps you can try to troubleshoot and resolve the issue :-

    1. Force Power Automate to Retrieve the Latest Version
    • Add a “Get File Metadata” Step: Before the “List rows present in a table” action, add a “Get File Metadata” action pointing to your Excel file in SharePoint. This often forces Power Automate to recognize any recent updates.
    • Use the File’s Last Modified Date: You can check the file’s “Last Modified” property in the metadata to confirm that Power Automate is accessing the latest file version.
    2. Introduce a Delay
    • SharePoint may take some time to fully update changes across regions, especially with larger files. Add a “Delay” action of around 5–10 minutes after updating the file, just before reading it. This can help ensure Power Automate is accessing the latest data.
    3. Clear Power Automate and SharePoint Caches

    • Occasionally, clearing caches can help with accessing the latest file version. Although Power Automate doesn't have a dedicated cache-clearing function, re-checking settings like “Contribute” permissions and refreshing connections may help.

    Thanks!
