Hi all,
I've recently set up about 20 flows that now help immensely with my place of work.
From generating spreadsheets to simply just sending emails, they make everything much more efficient now.
I need to know if there's any way of having a groups email connector linked to a flow.
Currently all emails go through my connector, and i'm concerned this may be a single point of failure and if i were to leave the entire system would collapse.
All flows are kept in a team area so they can be edited by specified users. Ideally I would like to be able to use email connector from the group that we set this up for.
Is this possible or will it just have to go through someones personal email for now?
@v-bacao-msft - Thank you very much for your reply.
My main needs are to address our standard risk management practices, part of which is ensuring systems do not have a single point of failure.
So just to confirm, as it stands there is no way of having either a shared mailbox or group inbox as a connector. But you recomend potentially sharing the flows in case I was to leave. I've currently got all of my flows/forms saved in a group area so at least they are accessible.
I'll definately put forward that suggestion though, thank you once more for your time.
Hi @DrewHenderson ,
Currently there is only a connector for Office 365 group, but there is no group email connector.
The configuration of Outlook and Office 365 outlook related actions can only be configured using a personal mailbox.
Could you provide more details about your needs?
From the content you provide, it is recommended that you could export Flow as a template for others to use, or share it as a Team Flow to other members, which can increase the reproducibility of Flow.
Also about the feature you mentioned, you could post this idea in the Flow Ideas forum, it might be considered for future releases.
