CC email to email addresses listed in MS form response

Hi,

I have this flow to pull MS form responses into SharePoint list table. The MS form has multiple qns asking for different remediation action PIC (person-in-charge) email addresses depending on which remediation action is applicable. Therefore it's common not to have all PIC email addressess filled up by form responder.

I want to have email CC to whoever PIC email is listed in the form to notify them there is a form submitted and he/she is the listed PIC. I guess there is something wrong with the logic I use for the CC portion because even when there is a PIC given by form responder, notification email only cc to our internal team (which i pre-set in the logic, highlighted in yellow) but can't pick up any emails of PIC listed in the MS form.

Hope someone can suggest a way to solve the problem.

    Hi @Wei_Keng ,

    Could you please share more details about your scenario? How does the form look like in these questions and responses?

    Best regards,

    Hi @v-jefferni , my form will ask for basic details from user, then there is a qn that has 2 options to choose from and depending on the selection will lead to set A or set B qns. Set A qns will include a free text field qn for user to key in PIC email address if applicable, else it can be left blank. Set B qns will include multiple qns asking for PIC email address, depending on whichever qn is applicable and they are all free text fields.

    Below is an example of the form response in excel format with an address under the column data "PIC_BL".

    The responses will be extracted into SharePoint. Wonder why my email cc list cannot pick up the email addresses from form responses. I have included the semi colons as well.

    Hi @Wei_Keng ,

    Please try and use a Compose action below the Get response details action and include all those dynamic contents in response. Test the flow with a recently trigger, check run history and see if there is anything in the Compose output.

    Best regards,

    @v-jefferni ,

    Thanks for your suggestion and time!  I was figuring out what's wrong with my logic and i did some changes to resolve the issue. I removed the Sent Email automation after (Parse Json + Apply to each) chain and created a new step outside this loop. The new step is a 2nd Condition step to send email notification. I also shifted the dynamic emails to "To" list, so my cc list only have static emails. Saw some people sharing in the community that static and dynamic emails seem not able to work together in the same To or CC field. Eventually the whole thing works now!
