Identifying TeamId on Team Name provided

Dear all,

thanks in advance for a hint, what is wrong on following solution.

The goal: create task in MS Planner upon provided Team, Plan and Container names.

Situation: the condition does not work

Edit: doesn't work neither with "Team Name" or "displayName" (real XML value name)

Regards,

Thanks, but not working. It (condition) now returns: InvalidTemplate. Unable to process template language expressions for action 'Condition' at line '1' and column '2234': 'The template language function 'contains' expects its first argument 'collection' to be a dictionary (object), an array or a string. The provided value is of type 'Null'.'.

    Hi @DavidDostal

Believe your first condition mapping is wrong. You are checking the body('ListTeams')?[TeamName']

This should be mapped from the Apply each loop

    items('Apply_to_each')?['displayName']

    Hi @abm ,

Many thanks. This advice seems to lead to the solution. When I compare your  items('Apply_to_each')?['displayName']  equals to  Team Name (e,g, output of Teams List), it works - flow gets through the condition and creates six Planner Tasks for six Teams.

But when I compare it to manually entered input of the flow (string value Team), it does not create neither one. As seen at screenshot, I have tried both operands equal to and contains.

    What do I miss?

    Many thanks,

    D.

    Hi @DavidDostal

    Thanks for your reply.

Make sure you reference the correct trigger named variable.

    Thanks

Hi @abm and @ChristianAbata , thank you for not giving up my issue 🙂

Yes, I compare that to proper trigger input value Team

    Hi @DavidDostal

Try the manual trigger input mapped within single quotes. Let me know how it goes.

None of following options (in single quotes, with and without brackets[]) work. The condition never become of true result.

But it might be the roout cause (right side of equation) - again, when I put standard List Teams output  Team Name, condition is true for all teams.
