Hi

We are trying to export the data in .csv file which is in Sharepoint into .xls or .xlsx file format while sending them as an attachment in the email. We have used scheduled flow for this and were able to export and receive them by email. When we try to open both files(.xls, .xlsx) in google sheets we were able to see the data successfully. However, when we download and try to open the same files locally, we are getting the below-mentioned errors. We have Excel2013 in our local. Not able to know what is causing this issue. Whether this is any version-related/mismatch issue or file format issue. Kindly help us in this regard.

Thanks in advance.xls.pngxlsx.png

Re: Not able to open exported excel file in local

1: Punctual Method (must repeat for each file)

Open the file in Windows Explorer
Right-click on the .XLS file and select Properties
Check the Unblock option and then click Apply

2: Change Trust Settings in Excel

*** Warning All XLS files from the Internet will be able to be opened without verification ***

    Open Excel
    Go to Files>Options
    Click on the Trust Center
Click on the Trust Center Settings button
Disable (deselect) the “Enable Projected View for files originating from the Internet” option

    Regards,
    Drake
