Hi all,

I have a multi level approval flow. The approval emails and the dates from responses/outcome are in UTC. How do I change them to local time?

    Hello @Anonymous

Currently that's not possible (change the approval generated email date created field). You can vote for this feature in the Power Automate Ideas Forum: https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Power-Automate-Ideas/Ability-to-change-TimeZone-in-Approval-Emails/idi-p/127474

    Hope it helps!

    Hi @fchopo ,

I see, that's very unfortunate. Hopefully this feature will be available soon.

However, how about the dates from responses? is there any way to convert them to local time zone?

    Hello @Anonymous

Yes, you can do it in two ways:

    1) Using the "convert time zone action":

    2) Using the "convertTimeZone" expression:

    convertTimeZone(utcNow(),'UTC','Romance Standard Time')

You can find the time zone string values here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/manufacture/desktop/default-time-zones

    Hope it helps!

    hi @fchopo

I added current time and convert time zone actions to each level of the approval and it works well.

    Thank you.

@Anonymous @fchopo Could you please advise, where did you add the current time and convert time zone box? I've added them right before the "start and wait for an approval" and the created date in approval mail always display GMT time zone. How did you fix this?

    Hello @joanneleung

Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the "Date Created" field when using the "Start and wait for an approval". You could vote for this feature in the Power Automate Uservoice forums: https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Power-Automate-Ideas/Ability-to-change-TimeZone-in-Approval-Emails/idi-p/127474

Please, next time open a new thread so we can help other users to find the answer to the same question.

    Regards,

    Ferran
