I have an environment which had the default Data loss prevention policy assigned to it. But now the environment has a different DLP policy assigned to it however the apps built within this environment still think they have the original DLP policy assigned to them.
Please could someone help me understand why

A single environment can have multiple DLP policies that apply to it. Adding a new DLP policy to the environment won't remove the effect of the old one. The result will be to implement the most restrictive combination of all the policies. Could that be what you are seeing?
