Get The First Free Row - Excel borders

Hello everyone,

I hope your day is going well. The issue I encountered was when I used the "get the first free row" action in PAD on my Excel sheet with borders. It seems like PAD sees Excel borders as a filled cell. Did anyone else encounter this issue? If so, were you able to resolve it?

Thank you,

I have the same question (0)

I couldn't replicate that issue. I added some borders and even table

Or even if last value is outside table:

Are you sure the cells inside the borders doesn't have whitespaces in them?

The Get first free row/column from Excel worksheet action interprets any formatting as part of the data, so if you have any formatting below the data, you'll get blank rows/columns retrieved, too.

The Get first free row on column from Excel worksheet action that @eetuRobo shows in their screenshots is different and does not have this issue. So, if you don't care about the last column and only need the last row, it's a good idea to use this action instead.
