How to exclude columns when you want to update the items in your SharePoint List ?

Dear Community,

I have made a Power Automate flow that updates my items in my Sharepoint list template "Content scheduler with Approval".

Only when i use the update item connector i do not see the columns that i want to exclude.

But when i run my flow the data in those columns gets erased !!!

1. What could be the reason i do not get to see all the columns of my list

2. And how can i prevent these columns data gets erased

I try to make a seperate view to exlude these columns and set the property Limit Columns by View to

that view. But did not work.

The columns that i tried to exclude are called: Goedkeuringsstatus, Verzonden naar and Beantwoord

These 3 columns aren't available in the update item connector and are the ones i want to exclude

and the data of the columns will be erased after executing the power automate flow !!!

This is the connector:

    Hi @PeKi72 ,

To see the full list of columns in your List, you need to provide the site address and list first, then all your columns will appear below.  That said, if you don't want to update one or more of the columns, simply leave them blank.

For security reasons i have left the site url and list hidden, and i can not leave a column blank if it isn't there. Gr. P

    Hi @PeKi72 ,

Calculated columns won't show up here and other types as well but guessing since I don't know about the column types you are mentioning.

Also, if the columns were added after the fact, delete the action and re-add, this will get the new schema and include those columns.
