Using RetrieveEnvironmentVariableSecretValue from custom code

Hello experts!
I would like to use Dataverse Environment Variables stored in Azure Key Vault to store secure information used by our Dynamics 365 custom code. I need to access mentioned values inside Dataverse plugins and custom app which connect to Dataverse with AppId/ClientSecret.

Everything seems to be working ok right now. However when I take a look on the Microsoft documentation of RetrieveEnvironmentVariableSecretValue Action - I can see the following sentence there:

Retrieves an environment variable secret value. This API is limited to being called within a Power Automate Flow and cannot be called directly in your code.

So... I'm confused what should I do right now. Am I allowed to use mentioned API from my plugins and custom app? Right now everything works pretty fine however I'm worry that Microsoft will block access to this specific request in the future and my code stop working correctly.

Any ideas?
