I have been trying to find a way to remove the direct access of the user in a file or folder using "Send HTTP Request to SharePoint" but the only solution that I got keeps on doing the "Stop Sharing" the file.

Is there a way to do it?

    Hi

So, if you have a sharepoint library, what is the actual security model you are using? Is the person part of a group (SharePoint or ADD/Entra).

But what does "direct access mean", as in the above, they are in some "group/directly added to SharePoint document library or what?

    Hi @FLMike

The person is part of the viewing group but will be given access in a certain folder or file upon request. So basically, other files and folders will still be Read-Only on his POV.

My problem is when I tried to remove the edit access using the Screenshot above, the flow will get all the PrincipalID of all the users and groups that has access on that specific file and it will "Stop Sharing" the file to them. Only the Site Owners can view that file.

Removing direct access manually will look like this via Manage Access option on the file/folder
