Schedule refreshing PBI report 48 times during office hour 8-6 and premium license info

@trice602

Continuing from our previous conversation, I am wondering if you can help me with these two initial questions:

  1. With my current premium licensing in Power BI, I am wondering if those 48 refreshes is per account or per report? and does these 48 refreshes constraint only refer to auto-refreshes, right? If I manually refresh a PBI report, it does not count as one of 48 refreshes, did I understand it right? Thanks,
  2. Can you please help me with steps in Power Automate to trigger refreshes every 15 mins per hours for Mon to Fri from 8 to 6?

Thanks again for all of your help. Appreciated!🙏

    HI @tana1 ,

    Please try this one and let me know.  To get to the M-F and hours, select the Week frequency, that will give you teh days and hours to select.  Run at 15 minute intervals.

    Please mark as a solution and/or give me a thumbs up 👍🏽 for replying and offering help! 🎗️  Always glad to help! Tom

    should I pick scheduled cloud flow? I tried but did not see the interface you shared with me. Please advise. Thanks,

    By the way, can you help me with my first question?

    I found it. for this testing purpose, I have set it up like this.

    How come it did not say every 15 mins, instead it said 15 weeks?

    I ran it but no run. I have checked both Power automate flow and Power BI. Any suggestions?

    Sorry I didn't review, using this one on a 1 week frequency, selecting days, hours, and minutes.

    Unfortunately, it does not work. I wait for the run at 6:40, it did not come. So I manually ran it then I wait for 6:55pm one. Check both Power Automate flow history and Power BI refresh time, both have no updated refresh. Any suggestions? Thanks,

    Yes, on the surface you are running in UTC time zone so your 18:10 run won't happen because it's not time yet.  I normally do one of two things:

    1) adjust my time zone;

    2) know my UTC time and adjust the run hours accordingly.

    Almost everything in the Power Platform is going to run in UTC time, a best practice is to know what your UTC time is and code for it.

    So look at the start time too.  I don't know what time zone you are in but this will not even consider firing until 8-15 at 12:30 AM and then run at 18:10

    Thanks for pointing it out for me. I am in UTC-07:00 Mountain Time zone.

    Can you please help me to incorporate this time zone change processes into our current steps? Thanks,
