Multiline Dynamic Field in Email Format

Hi,

I have a few multiline text fields in my powerapps form. It allows approvers to enter in comments. When I add this dynamic value within an email, it shows up with a space before and after the comments. How can I remove the spacing to align the comments next to the "Verifier Comments:" instead of it appearing below? It should be "Verifier Comments: looks good".

Any help is appreciated!

    Hi @NPatel12498

Assuming you're using a flow to send the email (because you posted it here), put a compose at the top of your flow and hit enter twice so you have two empty line spaces. I called mine Double Line Break

Instead of putting your dynamic email content straight into the body of the email, put it in a replace expression

    replace(DYNAMIC_EMAIL_CONTENT,outputs('Double_line_break'))

Hi this did not work for me.

I need the lines before and after the comments dynamic field in the email body to be removed.

Can you add a Compose before the Send an email action, drop the same comments dynamic value that you put in the email into the Compose as well.

Run the flow and then copy what's in the Compose and post it here?

    Hi,

    The compose outputs shows:

"I have a few multiline text fields in my powerapps form. It allows approvers to enter in comments. "

Aha! You have a rich text editor input field.

    ...not a multiline text field

    That changes things slightly.

    Try this first:

    PlainText(DYNAMIC_EMAIL_CONTENT)

Might need to do a bit of formatting afterwards

    Hi.

It works now! The issue was the list settings, the column was set to Rich Text and not plain text
