hide a record from a canvas-app form

Hello,

I have created a canvas-app form starting for a SP List. When a record is added, I would like that it to be visible in the Browse Gallery just for the person who added it. If this is not possible, I would like at least that record can be modified only by the person who made it.

Does anyone know if one of these actions is possible?

    If it's a SharePoint list you can go in and turn on Item level permissions in (List Settings > Advanced Settings) so that only members can read / edit their own items. But keep in mind that owners will be able to see / edit all. There isn't really a way to prevent SP site owners from doing that anyway.

    But this should net what you are looking for. If you need to add permissions for managers etc. to items, then you have to build out a whole flow model that edits item permissions on creation etc. to manage security per item.
