I am not sure if this is a Power Apps issue, or a SharePoint issue. Dragging and dropping an excel file to an attachment field on a form in Power Apps does not upload the attachment, but clicking Attach file does. Dragging and dropping a word file does upload the attachment.

I just tested an Excel file here and it dragged/dropped perfectly.
But did it upload and attach to your associated list?
Yes, I did a number of them to test.
Dragging and dropping an excel file to an attachment field on a form in Canvas Power Apps does not upload the attachment for some users as well. Do not know where the problem might lie.
